New Hope Church Disaster Care - Long Beach, Miss. 3

New Hope Church Disaster Care - Long Beach, Miss. 3

Our 3rd New Hope Church Disaster Care Team just departed for Long Beach, Miss.

We've now sent over 100 volunteers and over $100,000.00 to help the victims of Hurricane Katrina.

Should Hurricane Rita now rear her ugly head, we're already there to help.

We've been asked to be the local representative and coordinators for some other groups who want to send aid into the area, as well ... and Steve Williams, CEO of Super Foods in Colorado, said Pastor Tom and the New Hope Disaster Care Teams are the best organized and most effective disaster care teams in the entire region.

When you partner with New Hope Disaster Care, you're partnered with a winner.

New Hope Church Disaster Care - Long Beach, Miss. 2

.
New Hope Church Disaster Care - Long Beach, Miss. 2
.

Quick update - New Hope Disaster Care Team 2 has arrived in Long Beach, Miss., a town so ravaged by Hurricane Katrina that it's surrounded by razor wire and guarded by police, according to CNN.

Pastor Tom Sterbens and the New Hope Disaster Care Teams are doing such an exemplary job that we are being contacted almost daily to be 'the point' for other relief organizations fighting red tape and logistic issues just to get help into the area.

When you investigate - and participate with - New Hope Disaster Care Relief ... you're partnering with a first-class, well-respected group that does exactly as it promises ... and does not take one red cent for itself out of your kind and generous donations. Not a penny ...

... Which can be a rarity these days.

Doesn't it feel great to be associated with The Real Deal?

New Hope Church Disaster Care - Long Beach, Miss.

.
New Hope Church Disaster Care Teams Now in Mississippi
.

This blog is brand new. Here's a quick summary of what our New Hope Disaster Care Team has done since its inception in 2004 ...

After registration with and certification from FEMA, several New Hope Disaster Care Teams (see www.DisasterCare.com) went down to Florida on several trips in 2004 (with over $100,000.00 in cash and supplies) to help with the four hurricanes that hit Florida one after the other.

In early 2005, our New Hope Disaster Care Teams again went to Florida - this time to help with the mess created by Hurricane Dennis.

In September 2005, 48 volunteers from our New Hope Disaster Care Team went to Mississippi (with over $60,000.00 in cash and supplies) to help with the incredible carnage caused by Hurricane Katrina.

We're still there in Long Beach, Mississippi now, and expect to make trips to that region for at least all of 2006 to continue helping scores of individuals, as well as getting churches back in service - giving people a place for local assistance, care, and love.
